CEBUANOS IN CDO. A native of Misamis Oriental told The Ear that Cebu did right in sending aid (in cash and in kind) to Cagayan de Oro City. He said: “Did you know that Cebuanos outnumber all non-CDO natives in Cagayan?” He said a demographic study two years ago showed there are many Cebuanos in Cagayan and even those who were born in CDO have their roots in Cebu.

VERY CLOSE. He said that Cagay-anons and Cebuanos are so close to each other that intermarriages between the two are very common in Cagayan and even in Cebu (“Check it,” he said). “Cebu’s aid to flood victims in Cagayan won’t go to waste,” this Misamis Oriental native said.
