IMPOLITE GOV’T EMPLOYEE. In another establishment, this time a Cebu City office, an Ear informer witnessed an exchange between an impolite gov’t. employee and a senior citizen who had a transaction in the said office. “Maldita kaayo ang naglingkod sa Cashier 3 cubicle. Naay senior citizen niduol nangutana ug unsa na nga number ang gi-entertain, unya gitubag lang nga ‘Wa pa na imo number Noy,’” said the informer, adding that the other people who had business in the office reacted to the teller’s harsh treatment of the old man.

BREAK TIME. A few minutes after, the informer said, the same teller, hurriedly got up with her water bottle in tow and left her cubicle. “Abtik kaayo basta break time na. Wa man lang gani naghuna huna nga pwerteng taasa sa linya,” the informer heard one of the people queueing say. “Wa gyud kaila ug customer service. Ato man untang taxes ang gisweldo niya,” added the informer.
