This Cebuano is Macau's bigtime peanut vendor

PEANUT TYCOON. There’s a Cebuano who is raking in good money in Macau as a “peanut vendor.” But he’s a “bigtime peanut vendor,” according to an Ear informer. He runs a chain of peanut stalls in the former Portuguese colony where he is known to the locals as a “peanut tycoon.”

OTHER BUSINESSES. The Ear informer says peanut vending is only one of the businesses of this Cebuano in Macau. He also operates a small but luxurious eatery in Central Macau and he has a band in one of the casino-hotels in the Special Administrative Region. But it is his peanut business that our paisano likes best because the financial return is faster, according to him. Our paisano has not been home since he left Cebu more than 20 years ago.
