Pangandoy kong Cebu

PERSPECTIVE - Cherry Piquero Ballescas -

“What do we want our SUGBO to be? How can we get there together? How can we harness the immense human and natural resources for our common good and destiny as a community?”

If you are interested to be with those who want to share their own dreams about Cebu and together, make these dreams come true, then please join WORKSHOP COURAGE to be held at the West Gorordo Hotel on the 22nd and 23rd of November.

“Sign up now, seats are limited. And spread the word!”

Organized by The Movement for a Livable Cebu, “WORKSHOP COURAGE is a unique, proven and potent integration of science, spirituality, social theory, psychology, living systems theory, community-based development and other disciplines, all in the service of profound inner and outer transformation.”

According to IMAGINAL Teresa Ruelas who will share her time and gifts with those who will join the workshop, the event intends “to bring together concerned citizens, shakers, shapers, dreamers and doers… through a two-day “imaginal” act of collectively imagining, envisioning, enlivening, evolving, enacting the Cebu of our vision, hopes and dreams — Your Cebu!”

“Whatever field you may be in right now, whether you are in field of the Arts, Business, Health, Education, Government, Agriculture, Environment, Youth, Church, you are a part of what Cebu is and is becoming. Take your place and join us in this renewed quest to live our dream Cebu.”

To be facilitated by global and local multi-awardee Nicanor Perlas, who will be joined by Sr. Virgie Ligaray, RVM and Teresa Dosdos Ruelas, the workshop promises to awaken “the creative imaginal in each participant, that authentic self, that infinity within, and the group massive, unstoppable force for Truth and Greater Good. The workshop hopes to “affirm, deepen, widen, strengthen that Pangandoy kong Sugbo that imaginal individuals and groups are now consciously coming, becoming, and acting together to realize.”

If you are interested to discover, dream, design, and let destiny take you and the co-participants of this co-creative journey together to realize the Pangandoy kong Sugbo, then please remember to mark November 22-23 and join this workshop which will be held from 9 a.m-6 p.m, to reiterate, at the West Gorordo Hotel.

The Movement for a Livable Cebu wishes to reach out to all to reflect, to dream and to act together towards their Pangandoy Kong Cebu.

These words from Goethe and W. H. Murray capture their message to each and every Cebuano who loves Cebu. Please reflect on the following, then hurry and sign on for the Workshop Courage, and do spread the word about this workshop!

“ …concerning all acts of initiative and creation, there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans. That the moment we definitely commit ourselves, then Providence moves, too.”

“…All sorts of things occur to help us that would otherwise have not occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in our favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no one could have dreamed would have come their way.”

“…Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, do it!”

“ Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it.”

  “ BEGIN IT NOW.”
