WISE VENDORS. Two high school boys impressed many bus passengers with their “business sense.” A pastor on board a South-bound bus told The Ear informer that these two boys on board the bus he was riding in had candles for sale in their backpacks. “Knowing most of the passengers were to visit their beloved departed and would be buying candles at the cemetery, the boys peddled candles while the bus was traveling to its destination,” the pastor said.
CHEAPER. The candles peddled by the boys were much cheaper than those sold in the cemeteries because it was they who made these candles. The boys told the pastor they had already sold three backpacks of candles on three separate buses. “Believe ko sa enterprise ining mga bataa,” the pastor, who bought several candles from them, said.
