Ads solicitors for non-existing papers

STILL GOING ON? Unscrupulous people soliciting ads for a newspaper that does not exist in Cebu are still doing it in Metro Manila. Two years ago, another group of people doing the same illegal business was exposed in The Ear and has since been unheard of. This time, the newspaper being used is “The Visayan Eagle” said to be based in “Metro Cebu.”

MANILA BASED. An Ear informer said the people soliciting ads for non-existent publications supposedly published in Cebu are actually Manila-based and speak Cebuano mixed with Tagalog. “Pagkadaghan racketeer dinhi sa atong gamay’ng nasud nga Pinas,” our informer said.
