Housemaids support BIR's resibo raffle campaign

BIR RAFFLE. Did you know that some of the rabid participants in the BIR receipt raffling promo are the housemaids who do marketing duties for their employers? Housemaids of well-off families in some residential villages in the city gather the official receipts of their purchases and drop them in raffle boxes after, of course, writing the needed info on the back of the receipts.

One family head in a city subdivision said to his wife: “Amused kaayo ko sa kakugi ni Inday (not her real name) sa pagpanghug og resibo sa raffle boxes sa BIR.” The wife said: “Amused bitaw ka. Basi’g momata ra tag buntag, si Inday milyonarya na.” The jackpot prize of the raffle is P1 million.
