"Miniature United Nations"

UNSCHEDULED/UNREHEARSED. There was what an Ear informer called “Mini United Nations” in a fastfood eatery he had lunch in last Sunday. He said one table was occupied by an American family of three, another table has two Koreans eating. A third table was occupied by two Nigerians, and the fourth table was used by our informer (Pinoy) and his Chinese friend. “This was unscheduled and unrehearsed,” said our informer. “Sa Binisaya pa, sulagma lang,” he said.

A DOVE’S ROLE. The Nigerians in the eatery noted a dove in a poster on the door. “This dove of peace brought us here together unscheduled,” he said. There was a clapping of hands by the fastfood shop customers.
