The overpass "dorm" for the city's homeless?

HOME FOR THE HOMELESS. A member of a civic club has suggested that homeless city residents be allowed to sleep on the overpasses at certain hours at night. “Maybe from 7 p.m. to 3 or 4 a.m. when the skywalks are used by only a few people,” he said. He said it would be in keeping with the tenets of Christianity to allow the homeless to sleep on the overpasses instead of the sidewalks.

JUST A THOUGHT. The civic clubber said “Sugyot lang kining ako ...basi’g naay wa makauyon sa sugyot unya ila kong batikoson.” He said he got the idea from a district in Baguio where homeless kids gather in a park at night and are given free hot coffee by a civic group. “This is just a suggestion,” he repeated.
