Cebuano engineer in Manila "saves" car from carjackers

CARJACKERS. A Cebuano engineer working in Metro Manila is sending his million-peso SUV car to Cebu following the near-murder of Cebuana Pilar Pilapil in the hands of carjackers in Marikina City. “Nagkagrabe ang carjacking sa Manila,” he said. “Di lang kawaton ang sakyanan mo, ilogon gyud bisan imong gi-drivan.”

ANOTHER CASE. The carjacking of Pilar Pilapil’s car was actually the second case within the week, according to this Cebuano engineer whose friend’s car was carjacked by force. Luckily the carjackers did not succeed because they fled when they heard an ambulance siren whining. In shipping his car to Cebu, the engineer joked: “Bahala na’g kawaton ning awto ko sa Cebuanos, ayaw lang sa mga Tagalog.”
