Pimp my bike

- The Ear -

TRICKED OUT RIDES. There seems to be a trend among motorcycle owners nowadays of customizing their vehicles with sleeker bodies, cooler chassis, neon lights and smaller handlebars.

Even cheap installment bikes not designed for customization are brought into shops to be “tricked out” with whatever their owners fancy. One shop even offers to install stereos into motorcycles.

BIG BIKES, SMALL WHEELS. But a car mechanic said this trend is not entirely good. For one, fitting smaller handlebars on a bike intended to have big ones may affect the control the driver has over the vehicle. The mechanic also told an Ear source he once saw a man driving a big bike with a rear wheel that looked as if it had been take off a child’s bicycle and installed there. “Anha ra sila makat-on og ma-aksidente na,” the sourced quoted the mechanic as saying.
