US-based Cebuana nurse scared of Cebu traffic

FRIGHTENING. A Cebuana nurse while vacationing here recently, tried to drive her brother's car from the Capitol to Pardo. But midway to her destination, she stopped and gave the wheels to her brod. "Makapatindog balhibo ang traffic dinhi," she said. And yet she's not a novice driver. "Been driving in the States for many years," she said. "But never got scared."

ARRESTED. It was a double whammy for this vacationing nurse that day. She got the scare of her life and was arrested for a traffic violation. She stopped in a no-stopping zone. "Sa dinalidali ko'g hunong kay kuyawan ko's traffic, wa ko kita sa no-stopping sign," she said.
