A Cebuano OFW in Surabaya, Indonesia, witnessed the first Philippines-Indonesia semis Suzuki Cup game in Jakarta last Thursday. He said he saw only very few Pinoys in the grandstand, said to have some 80,000 fans that night. The Cebuano OFW said in a text message to his wife: "Hostile kaayo ang crowd. Duna pay mga naninggit og piangi ang Pilipin." He has been in Indonesia for 15 years so he now understands Bahasa (Indonesian language).

"MAS GUAPO". Collegiate girls watching the football game in their dormitory kept cheering and yelling to the disgust of other boarders who didn’t go for football. The girls said: "Mas guapo ang atong players ... dili nawong kargador sa pantalan."
