Separate polling precinct for senior citizens

CLIMB THE STAIRS. During the Barangay and SK elections, Ear informers observed that in many areas, there are senior citizens whose polling precincts were located at the second or third floor of the school, making it difficult for the elderly voters to climb the stairs. "Gipakatkat pa jud nila ang mga tiguwang mopay huyang na'g tuhod. Grabe naman pud. Ari ra gyud unta sa ground floor ang presinto."

SEPARATE PRECINCT. A mediaman also suggested that a separate precinct be created for the senior citizens because it's his observation that these aged voters take a long time to complete the voting process. He said, "Dunay usa ka senior citizen kagahapon nga gi-pauna gani og botar kay gihatagan siya'g pabor, apan mokabat tingali sa 20 minutos usa makahuman sa pagsuwat." An Ear informer also said, "Makadugay sa pagbotar kay dili ra man ang senior citizens maoy paunahon, apil man ang kuyog nga ga agak sa tigulang."
