Election blame game

DELAYS. Over 1,600 barangay were affected by the delays in the arrival of election paraphernalia. True to form, the Comelec has, once again played the blame game. The Comelec chairman said bidding for ballot papers was delayed which caused printing delays. The National Printing office blamed the old printer for the delay. Even typhoon Juan was blamed for the delay of delivery. A mediaman commented, “Ah, pati ang bagyo gi-blame sa delay.”

VOTERS VENT. One upset voter was heard saying, “Hahay ning Comelec. Mora man sila’g just now.” Another said, “Dah, gatinapulan lang gyud. Nalangan kay naglangay-langay man. Siyaro, sa pila ka tuig kapila ra man intawon mag election, malangay pa gyud. Mora’g mga pagong.”
