Fake P1,000 bill from ATM

- The Ear -

FAKE BILL. A mediaman’s friend recently withdrew a few thousand pesos from an ATM of one of the biggest banks in the country. The ATM was located in a mall in Banilad. After that he went directly to a courier service office. When he paid with the money he just withdrew from the ATM, the cashier told him that his P1,000 bill is fake. He said, “Ha? Ako man nang gi-withdraw sa ATM. Peke ang kuwarta gihatag?”

NO RETURN, NO EXCHANGE. When he complained to this bank about the fake P1,000 bill that came out of their ATM, the bank employee he talked to refused to entertain his claim. The bank employee said that it is impossible for their people to place fake bills inside their ATMs. Now, he is planning to complain to the Central Bank. The mediaman said, “Luoy kaayo akong amigo nga nabiktima. OK ra unta to kung P100 or P500 nga peke, pero dako ra pud ang P1,000.”
