Early Christmas caroling

“BER” CAROLING. As soon as the “ber” month clocked in, enterprising people started their early Christmas caroling in many urban communities. On the first week of September, residents had to deal with these early birds. A housewife was heard saying, “Ah, wala pa gani kalag-kalag namasko na mo!”

PERSISTENT. But these carolers are also persistent and would not go away. A couple with a blind man would persistenly shout, “Ayo!” even though the house owner would shut the door on them. The housewife, finally came out of the house and gave one peso to the carolers. The carolers looked at the one peso coin and before going away said, “Piso ra? Kabarat pud nimo uy!”
