YOUTUBE VIDEO. A few hours after the botched hostage crisis in Luneta Monday last week, a training video of how the Serbian Special Forces trained for a hostage-taking incident was circulated in the internet emails and social networking sites. Many were amazed at the agility and speed shown by the Serbian Special Forces and made comparisons to the Manila SWAT team.
COMMENTS. A mediaman who saw the video commented, “Nigamit pud ang Serbian police og maso, pareho sa gihimo sa atong kapolisan. Apan paspas kaayo molihok ang Serbian special forces, dili pareha sa atong Manila pulis nga mora’g slow motion.” Another commented, “These Serbian forces look very fit. Ang atong pulis, dagko man og tiyan, maong nihuot sa bus. Huyang pud og tuhod kay sige kaon humba ug ginabut. Hehe!”
TRAINING VS. REALITY. But others commented that the footage shown was just a training video. One said, “Training ra man gud ni. Wala may actual hostages ug hostage taker.” Another said, “Wala ta kabalo kung mag-unsa sila kung tinuoray na. Basin mobahag sab ang ikog nila.”
