PUJ owner cries foul

WHO TAMPERED WITH IT? A PUJ owner was nabbed for “tampering” with his plate number and was fined P10,000. He was surprised because the plate number was issued by the LTO office (Mandaue) that registered the vehicle. “Ngano man ni?” he asked. A lawyer has offered to help him solve his problem.

BUREAUCRATIC CORRUPTION. A lawmaker from the opposition told people he had dinner with in an SM eatery: “This anti-corruption drive of President Aquino will never succeed unless he gives attention to the small crooks in the bureaucracy.” He said: “Kahit yong mga kurap na office clerks posasan yan ...
