SWAT (Sorry We Aren't Trained)
BY DEFINITION. The dictionary defines them as: Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT) team, an elite paramilitary tactical unit in law enforcement departments. They are trained to perform high-risk operations that fall outside of the abilities of regular policemen. Their duties include performing hostage rescues and counter-terrorism operations, serving high risk arrest and search warrants, subduing barricaded suspects, and engaging heavily-armed criminals.
WHAT’S IN A NAME? But with the bungled hostage crisis operation in Manila which was seen globally, many people have christened the SWAT with many, not-so-nice names, among them, SWAT: Special Weapons Alang Tactics; Sorry We Aren’t Trained; Sana Wag Akong Tamaan.
