American asking for donations using mayor's name

AT THE MALL. An American man who looked to be in his mid-40s was seen going around the different shops inside a mall asking for donations. He was clean, presentably dressed in a red shirt and cargo pants. He was seen carrying documents which he said came from the mayor’s office. On closer inspection, his documents had a stamp but did not have a seal. An Ear informer saw him entering many shops in the mall. The informer said, “Confident baya kaayo siya. Inig sulod niya sa shop, mangita dayon sa manager. Unya kay lagi Kano, istoryahon dayon sa manager. Didto na siya mangayo og donation.”

SCAM ARTIST? This American would explain to the shop manager that he is asking for donations because he lost his wallet which contained P60 thousand and other documents. The informer heard him say that he came from the mayor’s office. The informer said, “Makaduda man kay mora’g scam artist. Ambot sab kung tinuod ba tong iyang gipakita nga documents nga gikan gyud sa mayor’s office.”
