Readers: We have to know these partylist groups

- The Ear -

WHO ARE THEY? A former OFW who is now retired is asking about these partylist groups who are campaigning for seats in Congress. He said that there are so many of them that it’s becoming confusing who he will vote for, as he said, he does not know anything about these groups. He said, “Wa ko kaila ani nila. Magpapilit og mga posters pero acronym ra man. Unsaon nato pagpili hain ang angayan botaran ani nila nga wala man ta kaila nila?”

KNOW THE PARTYLISTS. The reader is suggesting that these partylists put out ads in the newspapers, television and radio to identify themselves. He also expressed fear that these partylist groups may only be fronts of politicians and self-serving individuals but who do not really represent the marginalized sector. He said, “Magduda man gud ta aning ubang partylist.”
