Enjoy the Sinulog festivities, with care

INFLUX OF TOURISTS. A businessman, native of Cebu, noted that there are more foreign tourists in Cebu this year for the Sinulog celebration. He said that just by going around the different malls, he said that he can see more foreign tourists this year compared to other years. He said, “Puwerte gyud daghanang mga turista karon. Dili lang kanang mga usual nga Koreano, pero kanang mga Europeans gyud ug Americans.”

BE CAREFUL. The businessman said he is glad of the increase in foreign tourists in Cebu but he wants to warn the tourists to be careful. He said that there are many criminals from Mindanao who are here in Cebu, not for the Sinulog, but to prey on unsuspecting tourists. He said, “Ang mga hotels kung asa nag-stay ang mga turista, dapat mohatag sab og warning sa ilang mga guests nga dili magdala og dagkong kuwarta inig lakaw-lakaw nila. They should enjoy the Sinulog, but with care.”
