SHOUTING KOREAN. A Korean was heard shouting at a clerk at the parcels department at the central post office the other day. He was upset that it took the staff a long time to get his parcel. He shouted, “I have no time!” right at the face of the poor female clerk who was looking for his name in the very long list. The clerk told him, “Don’t shout at me. I’m not sleeping.”
DON’T SHOUT. A client told the Ear informer, “Ganina ra na siya gasiyagit.” Apparently, the Korean wanted to claim his parcel quickly but he didn’t present any notice, which made it difficult for the post office staff to find his name among the hundreds of parcels. His rude behavior startled many clients at the post office who got upset at the Korean. One woman shouted back, “Hey, don’t shout! This is not your country!” Another woman said, “Naunsa na siya, magpa VIP treatment?” A man was also heard saying, “Bastos ning Koreanoha ay. Lami i-ugbok.”
