Bizman agrees with airport greeting ban
NO GREETING. A businessman said that he agreed with the move of Ninoy Aquino International Airport in banning its employees from greeting arriving or departing passengers a Merry Christmas. He said that he and his friends have been victimized by these people. He said that two years ago, he arrived in Manila from the USA mid-December and he described his experience at the airport as “horrible”.
FRENZY. The businessman said that many airport employees greeted him, which at first, made him happy. Then they offered him a trolley and to carry his luggage. He refused but they were persistent and asked for “Christmas gifts.” He said that even inside the comfort room, there were personnel who greeted him and asked for “pasalubong.” He said, “Grabe ning mga tawhana. Mamugos ra ba gyud. Naa sab ko’y mga amigo nga mao sab ilang na-experience. Mao nga mas maayo ning greeting ban sa airport.”
