Readers: Why did NBI agents wear masks?

QUESTIONS. Many questions were raised by TF readers regarding the NBI shootout with the suspected Rolex robbers in a resort in Estaca Thursday afternoon. One reader wanted to know why the NBI agents from Manila wore masks. He said, “Ngano nagtabon man sila sa ilang nawong? NBI gud unta sila. Mora man hinuon sila’g tulisan og dagway.”

MORE QUESTIONS. Another reader wanted to know why the media and even the local police were blocked from entering the resort for five hours after the shootout happened. He said, “Makasabot man unta ta kung dili usa sila magpasulod sa media pero ngano ang pulis dili man nila pasudlon? Ka hawod gud nila. Dili sila pahilabot? Ug nganong naabot ma’g lima ka oras una gipasulod ang media ug ang lokal nga kapolisan? Unsa ma’y gibuhat nila sa lima ka oras?”
