Be careful in opening your friends' emails

CAUTION. An internet expert wants to caution the public that there are internet viruses spreading around that copy your friends’ names and email addresses, that once you open the email will corrupt your computer or will copy the names and email addresses in your file. It will then send emails to everyone in your mailing list using your name. Once those people will open this email which they presume came from you, it will again corrupt their files or copy the email addresses in their list. The IT expert said this has a ripple effect.

READ THE SUBJECT. The best thing to do, this expert said, is to be careful and read the “subject” first before opening the email. If the subject says “Hi” or “Hi from (name of person) or “(Name of person) wants you to see this video/ sent you___” then this email is most probably a virus. He said, “Pagbantay gyud kay kuyaw na.”
