PAGEANT LAWYER. The Ear heard that the organizers of the Miss Cebu pageant has invited a lawyer to be the legal counsel for the beauty pageant. A mediaman posed this question: “Do they really need a lawyer? It’s just a beauty pageant isn’t it?” The lawyer who was informed of the invitation sent by the vice mayor commented, “They must want to avoid whatever happened this year ( the texter’s choice award boo-boo).”
