Guv's light moment with reporter

ON NOY-MAR. A reporter approached the governor to ask her to comment on Sen. Mar Roxas' move to sacrifice his presidential ambitions in favor of supporting Noynoy Aquino's bid for the presidency. After a short pause, the governor composed herself, took on a serious face and began with, "As governor of Cebu, I feel it is my duty..."

SENSE OF HUMOR. The reporters quickly whipped out their recorders, pen and papers to what they assumed whoule be a quotable quote. With pens poised and ears alert to catch every word, the reporters waited with bated breath on her comment. The governor suddenly said, "I'll comment on 2010." Haha!" The group burst into suprised laughter. The lady leader even danced a little jig in her amusement at the reporters' reactions. A female editor told The Ear, "I can't help but appreciate her sence of humor."
