Two women think the cop near a bank was gangster

UNTOUCHABLE? A male PUJ passenger kept smoking as the vehicle was on its way to its destination. After the man had gotten off the PUJ, one passenger asked the driver and conductor why they allowed that man to smoke in violation of the law. The driver said: “Ayaw oy, polis ra ba to.” The conductor said amen: “Bitaw polis to ... Manigarilyo man gani to sud sa taxi.”

MISTAKEN IDENTITY. Two women were about to withdraw their salary from an ATM outside of a bank on Borromeo St. One of the women told her companion: “Adto ta sa laing banko, kuyaw nang tawo gabarug-barug diha.” She was overheard by the guard who assured her: “Polis na, ayaw kahadlok.” The cop was wearing sleeveless T-shirt and maong shorts with sandals to boot. No wonder the women thought he was a bad element.
