Gov't worker seen making the "L" sign during flag rites
“L” MEANS FIGHT. During the flag ceremony in a government (national) office recently, one worker was seen putting his right hand on his chest while the left hand was raised with the fingers forming the “L” or “Laban” sign. After the flag rites, his boss called the worker to his office and asked him why he did that. The worker said: “Di ba, Sir, ang ‘L’ means ‘Laban’ or fight? I’m fighting for this country.” The boss said: “Pilosopo sad ka da. Hinuon OK ra.” As the worker was leaving, the boss gave him the “L” sign.
