Bar has two-beer limit

HOLD THE LIQUOR. A newly-opened bar in the uptown area has a strange house rule: A customer cannot order more than two beers. Employees at the bar said the owner set the rule so no one would get drunk and unruly. He is allegedly afraid someone will end up violent and break things because the place is mostly made of glass. The waiters also said the owner prefers an atmosphere of light conversation, not rowdy and boisterous bragging. While some patrons ridiculed the rule others said it was fair because most of their drinks are mixed with vodka and whisky.

KNOW YOUR LIMITS. “Ako sad duha ra man ka beer akong limit. Pero lahi ni akong style,” one patron said to the waiter, “after two beers wala na’y limit. Sakto man sad di ba?” His friends and the waiter could not help but agree.
