Keeping the change. A city matron reports that one well-known drug store in Cebu is the subject of complaint by many customers that it does not give them the exact change for the money they pay for their purchases. The matron herself has experienced this. She said she was entitled to a change of P7.15 but was given only P7.
Angry customer. The same city matron said that once she witnessed a male customer complaining aloud that he was not given the complete change he was supposed to receive. This happened in another branch of the said drug store.
Rounded off. It seems it is the practice or the policy of this drug store to round off the change in their favor, the matron said. “Ilang ipabilin ang puwaki nga sensiyo” she said, adding: “Tiaw mo ba pila ka libo ka pesos ang ilang mabulsa kada adlaw kay daghan man og branches kining maong drug store.”
