Who are those strongly against the "Right to Reply Bill?"

- The Ear -

THE PRO-BILL. Those strongly favoring the Right to Reply (or Right of Reply) bill are mostly government people who are often criticized by media because of their wrongdoings. This is the view of a political science professor who says he has been following the development of this bill in Congress. “Kadtong mga tawo, labi na mga opisyal, nga badlongon maoy gustong mapasar kining maong bill aron duna unya sila’y rason paglisud-lisud sa media,” the professor who used to be a mediaman in Manila said.

FIRST PRIORITY. The same professor said that Congress should give first priority to the Libel Decriminalization Bill because “it would strengthen the base or foundation of press freedom in the country.” He said: “Dugay na ning ilang giusikan sa ilang laway, panahon na nga ilang ipasar kining balaudnora.”
