National politician's daughter a headache to bodyguards

SINULOG AN EXCUSE. The Ear heard that the family of a national political figure came over days before the Sinulog and held a belated wedding reception at a 5-star international resort. The family’s presence here in Cebu was reportedly to attend the Sinulog festivities. The wedding reception was a hush-hush event. An Ear informer said, “Gi-timing nila nga panahon sa Sinulog para walay matingala ngano ang tibuok pamilya naa diri sa Cebu.”

LOWKEY. The daughter of this national political figure, whose face is equally popular, is said to give her bodyguards a headache. An Ear informer said this politician’s daughter wants to remain lowkey and having bodyguards follow her around will only draw attention to herself. During her recent visit in Cebu, her bodyguards had a difficult time keeping up with her. An Ear informer said, “Maglabad ang ulo sa iyang mga bodyguards mao siguro nga katong pag-anhi niya, nawala iyang cellphone.”
