Last Sunday, the Cebuanos wrapped up the championship with a 1-0 win over Dumaguete. But, sadly, not much stories about our diamond stars have seen print in the local papers.

Time was when baseball nearly equalled the popularity of basketball in Cebu. In fact, some of the best baseball players in the country in the 40s and 50s were Cebuanos.
Today, you don't read about local baseball games. Everyone now is crazy about basketball, even the four-footers.
