INEFFECTIVE SIGN. An Ear informer saw two white SUVs with seal of the Land Transportation Office (LTO-7) illegally parked along J. Solon St., across an international hotel at 8pm last Thursday. The first LTO vehicle was marked 04 while the other vehicle was marked 05. Both vehicles with red plates were parked on the street right at the “No Stopping Anytime” sign. The Ear informer also saw that the red plate of vehicle no. 04 was chopped off at both ends so one could only see the partial plate number of the said vehicle. The informer said, “LTO na sakyanan unya pikas ang plaka. Illegal pa gyud ang parking. Grabe!”
LEADERSHIP BY EXAMPLE. The Ear informer opined that it’s no wonder ordinary people don’t follow traffic rules and make shortcuts in their transactions with this government agency. He said, “If the government does not even follow simple traffic rules, how can you expect the same from ordinary citizens? Maong dili na ta mahibulong nga daghang palusot diha.”
