Pinay teacher in US said African-Americans went wild over Obama's win

WILD FOR OBAMA. This Filipina teacher who works and lives in Baltimore, USA who in an earlier Ear article said she supported Sen. John McCain reported that the African-Americans in the US went wild when Barack Obama’s won in the US presidential race. She said in a long distance call: “Sus, grabe! Puwerteng garaa sa mga itom diri. Ga party all night. Mag cruise sa streets, honking their horns and shouting at the top of their lungs. Morag dili matukib ilang kalipay.”

CONSEQUENCES. The Filipina teacher said she hopes positive changes will indeed happen, as promised by the now-president-elect, but at the same time she is worried about the consequences of his win for the Philippines. She said, “I’m worried for the BPO companies, and for the Pinoys wanting to migrate to the US. Basin maglisod na sila karon kay siguruon man gyud ni Obama nga tabangan una ang mga poor to middle class families. Most of them are blacks ra ba.”
