Jeepney driver promised his passengers with fare rollback

PROMISE OF ROLLBACK. An Ear informer heard a driver of a Colon-bound jeepney promise passengers of a fare rollback if they will ride in his jeepney. While encouraging passengers to choose his jeepney over others, he was heard shouting, “Ari mo diri sakay. Naay rollback sa plite!”

JOKE, JOKE. His jeepney seats were quickly filled and he was off to Colon. But after a few meters ride, he told the passengers. “Bitaw, wala pay rollback. P8 gihapon ang plite, ha.” The passengers grumbled and scolded the driver. A middle-aged man yelled at the driver, “Atik ra diay to ‘Do? Pastilan baya nimo.” The driver replied, “Joke, joke, joke!”
