Cabbie says bicycles should not be allowed to use overpass

BICYCLES ON OVERPASS. A taxi driver told an Ear informer that bicycles should not be allowed to use the overpass as they pose a great risk to the biker and to motorists. This as the taxi the informer was in nearly collided with a man on a bicycle at the overpass along Arch. Reyes Ave., last night. The cabbie is asking CITOM to apprehend these bikers. The cabbie said, “Ilabi na’g gabii, wala gud na sila’y headlights. Dali ra na sila madasmagan sa mga sakyanan. Unya daghan nila mogamit sa overpass, makahinay sa dagan sa trapik. Ngano dili man na pangdakpon sa CITOM?”

OBSTRUCTING TRAFFIC. An Ear informer was onboard a jeepney along Junquera St. when he saw a cream-colored Mitsubishi Lancer obstructing traffic at the intersection between Junquera and P. del Rosario Sts. The vehicle tried to beat the red light and ended up stuck in the middle of the street, blocking the flow of traffic along Junquera St. Several motorists hurled curses at the driver of the vehicle. The jeepney driver the informer was on was heard saying, “Suwapang nang draybera ay. Gasalig na de awto siya. Wala gyuy CITOM naka sita ana.”
