Taxi passenger calls cabbie “segurista”
“SEGURISTA”. The LTFRB has ruled that there would be no increase in the flagdown fare of taxicabs. But cabbies are allowed to ask for P10 add-on from passengers. A mediaman reports to the Ear that the driver of the taxi he rode in last Sunday immediately asked for the P10 before he could even start his taxi. “Segurista sang draybera,” the newsman said. “Abi ba niyang molukso ra ko sa taxi pag abot sa akong destinasyon.”
FARE MATRIX. One reader wonders why the goverment sells those fare taripas or matrices to PUJ operators. And at P520 each! “Siyaro sad dili gyud makapang-anod-anod ang gobyerno sa matrix,” the reader said. “Dili gyud mogasto ang gobyerno sa pagpapatik sa matrix bisan isip tabang nalang sa pobreng mga drayber? Minilyon nga kuwarta nga nausik-usik sa mga ghost projects. Unya pagpa-print lang sa matrix di ka-afford?”
