ADDED BURDEN. The concerned citizen who called up The Ear Wednesday to complain that a national high school in Basak is allegedly forcing parents to pay P520 otherwise the students will not be allowed to enroll for the year also complained that the school will not release a student’s card if the student still has outstanding balance. He also said that the school also has a practice of collecting P50 from incoming first year students. When asked what the P50 is for, he said, “Ambot lang, ang ilang giingon kay para sa entrance exam daw sa first year. Glaring kaayo ilang praktis.”
ALSO AN EDUCATOR. This concerned citizen said he was so upset with the school’s practice because he himself is a teacher but in a private school. “Magsakit man gud imong dughan nga makakita aning ilang binuhatan. Malooy ka sa mga bata ug sa mga ginikanan nga mapugos paghatag sa eskuwelahan para lang maka eskuwela ilang mga anak.” He added, “Kahibalo man gud ko nga dili angay pugson. Nakakita gyud ko ana sa tv. Gibalikbalik baya gyud nang information sa TV Patrol.”
