Girl nearly run over by car to avoid puddle splash

- The Ear -

PUDDLES EVERYWHERE. The Ear heard that a teenage girl was nearly run over by an SUV at Archbishop Reyes Ave. yesterday.

On her way to a mall, she tried to avoid the splash made by passing vehicles when their tires hit the puddles brought on by rainy days. When a car’s tire hit a pot hole near where she was standing, she instinctively jumped back to avoid getting her clothes wet. But her action nearly cost her life when she was nearly run over by an SUV that passed on the other side of the road.

INSENSITIVE DRIVERS. The informer who saw this told The Ear, “Sus, ni-ulpot gyud akong kasingkasing kay hapit gyud siya naligsan. Luoya sa bata uy.

Daghan man gud mga awto nga magpatara lag padagan, dili manumbaling nga ang mga tawo nga ilang maagi-an mahumod sa tubig ug lapok nga mopisik gikan sa ilang ligid.”
