Big drinkers

GUESS WHO.  Some big drinkers in an uptown eatery were playing a guessing game over bottles of San Mig. Some of the questions whose answers they tried to guess were: “Who is the crying boy?” “Who is the multi-million-dollar kickbacker?” “Who is the probinsyanong Intsik?” “Who are the members of the Greedy Group” “Who is the author of the phrase ‘dysfunctional management’?” “Who is alleged to be in the center of corruption?”

THEY BIT THE BAIT.  Two tough guys from the Waterfront area tried to teach a cellphone snatchers a neat lesson. One of them kept texting on his cellphone as if to show people he had an expensive phone. Moments later, a man held up the texter who went into the motion of refusing to yield his phone. When the holdup man pulled out a knife, he got a whack on the head with a steel rod that sent him crawling to the ground bleeding. The two toughies left him helpless.
