On-air bloopers amuse televiewers

ARNIE’S A NAGGER?  After a female reporter called a paintball shooting competition a “paintball shouting match”, it was another male reporters turn to make televiewers laugh.  Live on national TV, and during prime-time no less, a reporter pronounced California Governor Arnold Schwarzenagger’s family name as “Swarzenagger”.  “I know he is many things,” a televiewer jested, “he was a bodybuilder, an actor and a governor.  But I did not know he was also a nagger.”

RECKLESS IMPRUDENCE.  In their rival network, another reporter described charges brought against a careless driver who killed three men as “reckless impotence leading to homicide”. “Unsa kaha nang ‘reckless impotence’ no?” a mediaman said to his colleague. “I think that’s when ang laki sige og pamabaye but fails to make babies,” his colleague deadpanned.
