Rise of women jeepney drivers

- The Ear -

Taking On A Man’s Job. Ear informers have observed a rise in the number of women jeepney drivers in what used to be a man’s domain. At least two female jeepney drivers were seen plying the Talamban route while two other women work the Lahug route.

Female Driver, Mechanic. Another Ear informer said this female jeepney driver plying the Talamban route is a mother, a jeepney driver and a good mechanic. He said, “Ngilngig ning bayhana kay maayo kaayo mo-drive.
