Have you seen this hip-hop grandpa?

DON’T BE AFRAID. A couple of men jumped into a jeepney full of passengers the other day while it was traversing along Arch. Reyes Ave. much to the surprise of the passengers. They were hard-looking men, easily capable of snatching an unwary victim’s handbag, much less rob the whole jeepney. One man moved to the seat behind the driver while the other stayed at the rear. Just when the passengers were ready to jump out of fright, the man at the rear pulled out a stick with a nail and round pieces of metal attached to it. He then said, “Ayaw lang mo kahadlok. Dili ni hold-up. Manaygon ra mi.” He then jiggled his stick and both men began to sing.

GROOVY GRANDPA. Have you seen this hip-hop octogenarian? He was seen at a mall during the Sinulog wearing hip-hugging jeans with a metal chain attached to it, a black shirt, and black boots. He topped it off with a cap which he wore backwards. What caught the eye of observers was that despite his hip outfit, he could barely walk. This made one bystander call out to the octogenarian: “Ngilngiga ni lolo, ah! Bisan gabakang-bakang na, hip-hop gihapon!”
