Tom O was just being civil to Gwen and Mary Ann

Everytime my friend Daido Angel reads a news story about a wife causing trouble or being a problem to her husband, he looks up to the sky and say: “Salamat Lord nga hangtud karon imo pa kong gihimong ulitawo, bisan kaduha na miawas ang akong edad sa kalendaryo,” Hehe.

A reader called me up to comment on an item here about the beso-beso between Tom O and Gwen G. Also about Tom’s putting his hand on Mary Ann’s shoulder. (See those TF photos on page one last Jan. 21), “Nisakay ka sa pakitang tawo ni Tomas, Sir,” the reader said:

Let me clarify... What I was saying was that I liked those photos. Period. I did not say that all was well between Tom and Gwen on one hand and between Tom and Mary Ann on the other. I knew Tom was only trying to be civil to the two ladies during an occasion that called for civility.

E-mail from Roman Cuntado, a senior citizen: “There’ so much sound and fury over the Cheap Medicine Bill... They should also make a fuss over the fact that most senior citizens are not enjoying the 20 percent discount on their medicine purchases in the drug stores because the tinderas say no-no.”
