Are butcher’s knives not covered by the law on deadly weapons?

- The Ear -

JUST DO IT. Two teenage boys were watching a thrilling action movie when one of them suddenly got the urge to urinate. His companion was heard saying: “Anha lang pangihi diha, layo ang CR. Mobalhin lang nya tag lingkuranan.” So the young man did. And they moved to another seat (many vacant seats, few moviegoers at the time). The source of this story also moved to another seat “kay angso kaayo kay duol ko sa giihian.”

BUTCHER’S KNIVES. A businesswoman would liked to know if it’s all right for butchers to carry their butchering knives when riding in a PUJ. She said that a few nights ago, the PUJ she was riding in was boarded by a man with three unsheated butcher’s knives. “Nanimaho ra ba og ilimnong makahubog,” the woman said. “Are these knives not covered by the law on deadly weapons?” she asked.
