AN EYE FOR AN EYE. A businessman who called himself a promoter of Cebu tourism told The Ear he was mad at those "criminals" who shot and nearly killed a female Korean tourist. He said the suspects must each be shot on the part of their body where they shot the Korean tourist. "Dili kinahanglang patyon. Pusilon lang sama sa ilang pagpusil sa turista," the businessman said. "An eye for an eye ba, sama sa giingon sa Bibliya."
AWARD FOR THE WITNESS. The same businessman said the witness in the shooting of the Korean woman who trailed the "criminals" on his motorcycle to get the plate number of the motorbike of the suspects must be awarded for his civic consciousness. It was this witness who supplied the police with the plate number and other information related to the incident.
